* Chi Sigma Iota’s mission is to promote scholarship, research,
professionalism, leadership, and excellence in counseling, and to recognize
students who stand out from their peers in embodying and aspiring to these
values. The colors and symbols of the organization remind members of these
ideals and the call to continually commit ourselves to them. Your faculty
member's nomination statement should address how you embody and aspire to the
virtues of scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership, and excellence in
counseling, and this written statement must accompany your application.
